Cinder Takes Gold! Halloween in July?

Monday the 7th was a big night in the little city when Glastonbury hosted its 26th annual Pooch Pagent. The night was a chance for kids to show off their dogs. The Paskale's borrowed our dogs and we borrowed their children. The trade was a major success. Cinder and Julia landed the "Biggest Dog " award:

Cinder was hoping for "Biggest Tongue!"

Michael and Montes made a strong showing (2nd Place!) in the "Best Trick" category when Michael encouraged (with the help of a treat) Montes to leap in the air.

Thanks to Clare and Kevin's enthusiasm, Montes and Party were both ready for the "Best Costume" competition. Monty was a serious Pirate.....

....and Party fully embraced the role of a Dragon (or maybe was just upset to be turned into a doll, we'll never know and we can write whatever we want - sorry Party!)

The best part of the evening was hanging out with friends....

A big thank you to the Paskale's for all the generous treats. Nothing says "I care" like a dried bulls penis.
